After a robust evaluation, the thinc tank created an intuitive Parks and Recreation Master Plan for Township of Hamilton that provided 129 recommendations.

Here, we've highlighted three that encourages continued active living and elevates park experiences.

1. Consider building partnerships with local school boards for community use of sporting facilities, or joint development if providing a new facility.

2. Continue offering Township-led public skate times for all ages.

3. Develop a Township-branded signage and wayfinding strategy to be implemented at Township parks, trails, boat launches, facilities, and heritage sites.

By collaborating with the Township of Hamilton, we proudly created a master plan with meaningful community consideration.

Through an online survey and intimate workshops, the outcomes of our results directly impacted recommendations that filled the gaps.

Did you know the Wilson Village BIA is 2.5km long?

In the beginning of 2018, we collaborated with Wilson Village BIA to enhance the unique character of this site.

Zone Two is the longest section of our improvements to the Wilson Village BIA.

With the new addition of new trees, planting beds, and gathering spaces, this stretch of the site is sure to be a breath of fresh air. 🌱
