Learning to drive comes with mistakes. That’s part of the process.

This moment is a good reminder that there’s no such thing as a “st*p*d” mistake or a “st*p*d” question when you’re learning. The only thing that actually holds people back is staying quiet and unsure.
I’ve seen it many times. Students hesitate to ask, thinking they should already know the answer. That’s when small doubts turn into bigger problems later on.
If something doesn’t make sense, ask. If you’re unsure, say it. That’s how you improve.
Personally, I enjoy teaching students who are curious and eager to learn. It makes the lessons more productive and helps build real confidence behind the wheel.
Mistakes are expected. Questions are welcome. That’s how progress happens.

Big congrats on passing your G test 🎉🚗

From overseas driving experience to confidently handling Ontario roads — that’s not an easy transition, but he put in the work and it shows.

Relearning habits, staying disciplined, and even handling surprise snow on test day… all done right.

This is what it’s about: not just passing, but becoming a safe, aware, and responsible driver for the long run.

Well earned. Drive safe out there.

A few warm days and it feels like winter is over… until situations like this happen.

I came across a driver stuck halfway up an ice bank and turned around to see if I could help. By the time I got there, the car was already sitting on the ice. We tried a traction track and gave it a push, but once the weight of the car is resting on the ice like that, it usually won’t move.

Sometimes the smartest move is calling a professional recovery or tow truck.

It’s also a good reminder to keep a few winter essentials in your car. Even if you’re driving in the city and see lots of traffic around, things can change quickly. If you ever get stuck on a quieter street or late at night and help takes longer to arrive, having a few basics with you can make that wait a lot easier.

Watch until the end for a simple list of winter items every driver should consider keeping in their car.

Real situations. Practical lessons. Drive prepared.
