For our August concert at the Tranzac we will join the wonderful Michael Palumbo for an improvised encounter between electronics, voice, modular synthesizers, microsound, memory and noise.

Listening, responding building and unbuilding in real time.

Join us for the second-to-last show of our Tranzac residency…. As we start bending the arc towards a finale.

Coming Soon: HF, The Roadtrip. The Origin Story

Tomorrow. 10pm. At The Tranzac…Brown Dolly returns for another night of improvisation, tension, noise, image, and relation.

This time we will be collaborating with Jorge Lozano Lorza, a renowned Colombian-Canadian experimental filmmaker with over 30 years of work spanning cinema, documentary, political image-making, and moving image experimentation.

For the first time, Jorge will join us live on electronics while also presenting a series of short films, including works rarely screened in public. Together we will improvise through sound, texture, interference, rhythm, memory, and accident, responding in real time to the images as they unfold.

Expect a night of Latin noise, political undertones, relational fractures, tenderness, distortion, migration, static, atmosphere, and moments that may never happen the same way again.

Improvised sound by Brown Dolly + Jorge Lozano Lorza.Films, electronics, live response, and collective listening. .

Join us the last Sunday of every month for Brown Dolly’s Tranzac Residency
