I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to a very special collection. This collection is called The Painted Window. Last month I was contacted by the owner of The Painted Window Wedding Venue. ❤️It’s a beautiful rustic chic wedding venue just east of our workshop in Lyndhurst, Ontario.
Hali (the owner) was so kind, thoughtful and a complete pleasure to work with. She wanted Merrily Crafts to create a one-of-kind ”mini heart boards” so she could present to her couples as a special . I have named each board after a popular honeymoon destination. I hope you like these boards just as much as we do. Thank you Hali for giving us your trust and support. So excited to work on your next batch! 🎉🥰

One of my favourite part of making these artisan boards is designing them. Each board is hand sketch before it goes into the shop to be cut and sanded. We love our art...and we hope you do too! What a great day.

This board is a very special board. It measures 4 feet long by 2 feet wide. It’s the largest puzzle piece we have ever created. It was a custom piece design and created for a loving daughter from her mom. We named it “Vanessa” in honour of her daughter. It is made of solid live edge black walnut with the most stunning grains. You really can’t appreciate it’s true beauty from these pictures but up close...it truly is gorgeous. The two circular shapes you see at either end acts as a handle and as an area where you can place your favourite dips. At Merrily Crafts we want to infuse both beauty and functionality when possible. This gorgeous board has been sold tonight. It has found a beautiful home. I still can’t get over how stunning the grains look. I will let Nature take the credit for this one (but I did kind of design the handle and look of the board 🤷🏻‍♀️) Truly a one-of-a-kind piece.
