That’s a wrap on !

From kicking off the conference by sponsoring the Directors' Dinner, to hosting an insightful breakout session with Sam Smith & Alana Evanowich, and connecting with educators at our booth, the event brought together teachers, leaders, and partners that sparked meaningful conversations on data-driven solutions.

Thank you to everyone who chatted with us to explore how, together, we can continue to 'Empower Teaching and Inspire Learning' in Ontario classrooms. See you next year!

Last week, we had the honour of joining Indigenous education leaders from across Ontario at the Provincial Indigenous Leads Gathering in Toronto.

From powerful conversations on ethical spaces and decolonization, to immersive land-based learning, the three-day event was a testament to the strength and resilience of Indigenous communities.

There, we were proud to showcase resources that reflect authentic Indigenous voices and experiences, and to connect with passionate leaders shaping the future of education.

"As a parent, a teacher, and in my role working with educators across Canada, I see every day how teachers embody this year’s theme, Making Lives Better.

From getting to school early to run breakfast clubs, staying in at lunch to give extra math help, calling families to build strong communication, or finding ways to make sure every student feels seen in lessons, your impact is endless. Thank you, teachers.

We see you, and you are making lives better every day." - Jodi Dennie, Manger, Success Leads

Wishing all educators a happy World Teachers' Day! 🌎 💙

On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Nelson community is united in reflecting on the painful history of Residential Schools and our ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

This year, we joined approximately 5,600 students and educators from across Canada to engage in an Edwin Live Lesson, 'Reconciliation Through Storytelling' hosted by Liz Halina and Sean Oliver. After the lesson, we enjoyed Indigenous foods from Cedar Spoon and participated in a meaningful walk for reconciliation.

As Canada's longest and leading education content provider, we will continue integrating Indigenous voices, cultures, history and languages into classroom resources to build a greater understanding for all learners.
