The Happy Sort

It was important to our client that their hall closet housed a mix of items, considering the limited storage available elsewhere. With the help of a shoe rack being thrown out by a neighbour, we were able to create even more useful space up top. Sometimes it helps to get creative!

Stacked or not these stackable trays are so versatile and can you used in many areas throughout the home. Low profile stackable trays like these are great to organize cutlery, bathroom products, jewelry...the opportunities are endless! Sometimes you have to work with what you got! For this project renovating the kitchen wasn't in the budget. The cabinets above the fridge sit so far back making it impossible to reach. The homeowners and I decided to repurpose these baskets they had been using for something else and place them in front for easy access. No tippy toes or stool required here! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Tip: Shop your home for any items that can be repurposed, your bank account will love you for it!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You can't tell but these were freshly polished and newly organized and it makes me so happy! A simple small task like this one is manageable and doesn't require much time. Summer is officially here!! Which means it’s time for the seasonal clothing swap, hello cute summer dresses 👗! I love the chance it gives me to pay attention to what I own and what I have not worn in a long time or ever! Every season change over feels like a little bit of a new beginning, every item that you get rid of makes your closet tidier and your life just a little bit lighter. Reminder: Always donate anything that is in good condition before placing in the trash. .

Do you ever end up with disorganized collections of beauty samples, or find yourself with piles of half-empty containers which just grow and grow?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
