A few days ago, I had one of those moments that reminds me why I do what I do.
I wasn’t on the field. There were no screaming crowds or walk-off homers, rather I was in a packed room full of families, kids with bright eyes and a whole lot of love in the air.

I got to hug the little ones and one young boy grinned at me like I’d hung the moon, and in that second, my heart felt fuller than after any big game. These kids don’t see a baseball player, rather they see someone who cares, someone who shows up for them💙

Being there wasn’t about me. It was about them. About letting them know they matter, that they’re seen and that someone believes in their dreams just as much as they do.

Days like this ground me. They remind me that the real wins in life aren’t measured in stats or trophies, they’re measured in the smiles we create, the hope we spark, and the love we share with the George Springer Foundation.

To every kid and family who came out: thank you for letting me be part of your day. You inspired me way more than I could ever inspire you. Let’s keep showing up for each other.

Before facing the Minnesota Twins last night, I was honored to receive my third career Silver Slugger Award and my first as a Blue Jay. Grateful for the recognition after a strong 2025.

Then we backed it up with a solid 10-4 win over the Twins. Feels good to get that W and keep building momentum.

There are 3,700 kids across Canada still waiting for their wish to be granted. This holiday season, I’ve once again teamed up with my friends at
JACK_ASTORS to change that number one wish at a time.

Swing by any Jack Astor’s, order off Santa’s Secret Menu, round up your bill, or grab a Makeawishcanada star for the Tree of Wishes. Every single dollar brings joy, hope, and healing to a brave kid fighting a critical illness.

Spending the day with Delfina reminded me exactly why we do this. After everything she’s been through, watching her light up talking baseball and dreaming big was pure magic. Wishes really are medicine.

To every Blue Jays fan out there, I wanna say “THANK YOU” This season you carried us. You were the heartbeat under every pitch. You turned every game into a cathedral and every road trip into a crusade.

Thank you for making a kid from Connecticut feel like a king even in defeat. Thank you for teaching me that the loudest victories happen long before the final out.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s “see you at the plate”.
