Our electricians will be coming to the community on April 8th to begin the installation and replacement of bathroom fans and thermostats for participants that qualified!

Our team is in Kasabonika this week and they will begin delivering appliances to qualified participants.

When they arrive at your home, please make sure all pathways to the appliance are clear. They will deliver your new appliance, but you’ll need to let it sit for 24 hours to adjust to the temperature before plugging it in.

Once that time has passed, our team will return to remove your old appliance, which we will take for recycling. After that, you can move your food into the new one.

Our attic insulators have started work in the community for qualified homes!

Upgrading your attic insulation is an important step in reducing your electricity bills and making your home more comfortable. Insulation helps retain heat during the winter, reducing the need to keep heaters running all day long.

If you haven’t already, please plug in your new appliance now, since it has been 24 hours and your appliance has had the chance to climatize to your homes temperature

After 2-4 hours of being powered on, check to ensure it has gotten cold. Once confirmed, you can safely transfer your food from the old appliance to the new one.

We also kindly ask that you keep all pathways clear to help our delivery team with a smooth process.
