There are many reasons to switch from plastic to glass, but one of the most compelling reasons is the potential for chemicals in plastics to leak into your baby’s food and milk. Exposure to these chemicals has been linked with cancer, hormone disruption, and even decreased fertility. Glass containers do not contain any of these unsafe chemicals which means your baby can enjoy their food and milk without you worrying about what it might be doing to their health.
At Pureyay, we package our meals in durable glass containers that will survive drops and hot wash cycles, keeping you and your little one safe and well fed. We believe in baby food without compromises.

Babies and toddlers need more protein in their diets than older children and adults, around 11 grams per day for babies 7-12 months, and around 13 grams per day for toddlers. Try adding in these unique foods to up the flavor and nutrition in your baby's next meal:
1. Pitaya (aka Dragon Fruit) - Rich in antioxidants and high in fiber, this tropical ingredient supports the immune and nervous system and promotes gut health. The white version has a milder flavor while the bright pink version adds a vibrant boost of color. Try it fresh cut into age appropriate chunks.
2. Turmeric - Add a dash of this mild warm spice to introduce flavor and prevent picky eating. Not to mention, turmeric is packed with antioxidants to support immunity through the winter. Try it in with scrambled eggs or mixed with legumes.
3. Spirulina - This superfood is high in a dozen vitamins and minerals, supporting cell formation and acting as a natural detoxifier for modern life. Try it sprinkled on whole grains or mixed into a smoothie.
