WORI Awards 2025 was an inspiring evening that shone a light on remarkable success stories, resilience, compassion, leadership and community impact. The night truly highlighted the depth of care within Canadian society and affirmed why this spirit of compassion and solidarity must carry on without interruption.

Don't Pause Compassion: Reinstate G5 for Humanity!

The Group of Five (G5) sponsorship pause until 2026 and reduction of SAHs targets leaves refugees stranded in danger, while compassionate Canadians ready to welcome them with open arms wait in limbo.​

Through G5, everyday people offer heartfelt compassion—not just funds, but deep belonging, true friendships, and fresh starts in our caring communities.​

At Pathways to Caring Communities, our CRBBT work shows how community-driven care fosters belonging, builds confidence, and helps newcomers truly thrive with compassion at its core.​

MPs and policy makers, please reinstate G5 now to protect refugee pathways and Canada's legacy of compassion and caring communities!
