Nascent turned 16 🎉🥳🎊

We celebrated our anniversary together with great food, a team pottery painting session with , a foosball tournament, Mahjong, and a few other games around the office.

While we have fun every day building digital products and experiences together, it’s always nice to carve out some time away from our screens to simply hang out and celebrate each other.

Here’s to 16 years of building, learning, and celebrating together as the and many more to come.

Our team had the opportunity to get together over a tasty lunch and learn about our shared interests in turning our trash into someone else's treasure (and how to find some treasures of our own) with John and Millie on Facebook Marketplace!

Check out the fun facts they dropped:
• If it looks too good to be true - it probably is
• Not all conversations lead to a sale - be patient and you’ll find a buyer
• For safety, arrange to meet in a public setting

Hi friends! We’re happy to introduce Danielle, our newest Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. We’re looking forward to seeing what we will create together. Take a moment to get to know her.

Among your friends or family, what are you famous for?
I'm most famous for baking, especially banana bread and dark chocolate chip hazelnut cookies.

What popular TV show or movie do you refuse to watch? Why?
Oh, there are a lot of culturally significant “classic” shows that I can’t get into. Not sure if I’ll make enemies by saying this, but I just can’t get into Friends or Gilmore Girls. I’ve seen clips online and have tried to watch a few episodes, but it’s just not my cup of tea. However, I really like New Girl and would recommend it to everyone.

Priyam joined us as a dev intern in 2019 and immediately jumped in with experienced developers on complex projects. It'd be hard for anyone to start in that environment but we saw she had the grit and motivation to learn and grow.

Priyam has since worked across web and native apps, and welcomes new challenges each time. And when uncertainties arise when writing code, she jams with the team around her and has built confidence and certainty with each experience.

When asked what the biggest learning she’s had since starting as an intern, Priyam feels that her entire perspective on coding has changed; understanding how senior developers think through their work and focus on what the right thing to build is, was crucial in recognizing that devs here look beyond just getting the job done. This opened up her mindset, and her coding changed for the better.

We're grateful to work with so many talented and wonderful people just like Priyam!
