Women have always been at the backbone of the transport sector's struggle feeding strikers, managing logistics, coordinating mobilizations, and leading the fight against the oil price crisis. Yet their contributions remain largely invisible. We name and celebrate what has long gone unrecognized: that behind every act of resistance, women are already there, working.

The impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte raises serious allegations of misuse of public funds, abuse of power, and corruption. From the time of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. to Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., the Philippines has seen leaders come and go, yet the same issues of corruption and accountability continue. This shows that changing presidents is not enough; real change is needed to fix the system itself and break the cycle of injustice.

Joel has spent years building homes yet after every project, he’s back to nothing.
His story reflects the lived reality of millions of informal workers in the Philippines: no job security, low wages, and constant uncertainty.
