Winter is beautiful but I do love the sun 💛

Day four and we are creating poppies❤️🎨🖌️
These pretty little flowers are perfect to add in any painting you create. The variety of colours are amazing, cream, orange, peach, red and white. Centres can be yellow or black, and their little buds on their long stems are always fun to add in.
When creating the petals one must have so much patience to wait for your paint to dry. This is one of the key aspects to learning watercolour is allowing your paint to dry before adding in layers. Depending on the look that you’re wanting to create wet on wet can make amazing blending effects, but if you want to have your pedal stand out, allow time to dry in between each set.
