As a pyrography artist, you always have to be safe your work. I always use a mask as I work with an insanely high degree of heat when burning on wood. I didn't before when I first started, and surely my lungs were suffering for this. I'm using my RZ mask so I don't breathe in the smoke and fumes from burning. Stay safe always peeps!

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been a bit M.I.A the last few months. It's been all for good reason, I promise💙 I've been a little busy in my new role of mommy for the past month and needed some time adjusting to this little man...lol.
So this my Detail prompt for hosted by and This was a charcuterie board piece I made for a friend for Christmas and loved how it turned out!

When I took on this wood burning project, I had no idea if this was something I was able to feasibly do. A friend asked if I could do a wood burning piece of an old family home. The major difficulty lied with the only picture of the house the family had, which was taken in 1865. I had to try to digitally enhance the photo to get as much detail out of it, in order to wood burn this successfully. It took a lot of time, patience, and pushed me to new limits with my wood burning. In the end I was very pleased with this piece, and most importantly, the family was extremely happy! I attached the original pic of the home for reference🏠
