Hell Galaxy Launches on Steam

Hell Galaxy officially launches on Steam today, bringing its sci-fi action RPG experience to PC.

Developed and published by Italian Games Factory, the game combines space exploration, combat and RPG progression in a hostile galaxy filled with planets, enemies and resources to discover.

The release marks the arrival of version 1.0 following the final stages of development and polishing.

Hell Galaxy is available on Steam starting August 12.

Helldivers 2 × Warhammer 40,000 Crossover Arrives

Helldivers 2 expands its universe with a new Warhammer 40,000 collaboration launching today.

The Legendary Warbond introduces content inspired by the Astra Militarum, including themed armor sets, weapons and vehicle customization. New equipment includes the Meltagun, Bolt Pistol, Meltamine and Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle.

The crossover brings the visual identity of Warhammer 40,000 into the fast-paced combat of Helldivers 2 and is available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Legendary Warbond launches August 12.

Luminary launches on PC today, introducing a new Western-style RPG from Refractive Entertainment

The game arrives on Steam on August 11, expanding this week’s lineup of new PC releases and giving RPG players another indie title to explore.

The release is accompanied by an official launch trailer showcasing the game’s world and gameplay.

Luminary is available on PC starting today.

EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 Begins 3-Day Early Access

EA SPORTS Madden NFL 27 enters its three-day Early Access period today, giving Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle players access ahead of the worldwide launch on August 13.

The new installment introduces updates across gameplay, Franchise, Superstar and Ultimate Team. EA has also added a new Persona Engine designed to give NFL athletes more distinct personalities, motivations and reactions within Franchise mode.

Madden NFL 27 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.

The worldwide release is scheduled for August 13.

Netflix Premieres Ricky Gervais’ Animated Series “Alley Cats”

Netflix has officially premiered Alley Cats, a new adult animated comedy series created by Ricky Gervais.

Produced by Blink Industries, the series follows a group of feral cats from different backgrounds as they navigate everyday life through humor and social commentary. Gervais serves as creator, director, writer, executive producer, and voices one of the main characters.

Alley Cats is part of Netflix’s 2026 animation slate and expands the platform’s growing investment in original animated content for adult audiences.

The series is now streaming worldwide on Netflix.

Xbox Highlights Gears of War: E-Day Early Access Beta

Microsoft and The Coalition have opened Early Access for the Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta, giving eligible players an opportunity to experience the game’s multiplayer ahead of launch.

The beta is available to players with qualifying pre-orders, as well as eligible Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. Developed in Unreal Engine 5, Gears of War: E-Day returns to the beginning of the Locust War, exploring the events of Emergence Day before the original Gears of War.

The game is scheduled to launch on October 6, 2026.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Launches on PlayStation and PC

Marvel Games, PlayStation Studios, and Arc System Works have officially released Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls for PlayStation 5 and PC.

The new 4v4 tag fighting game brings together iconic Marvel heroes and villains in a competitive format developed by Arc System Works, the studio known for Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ. The game features original character designs, dynamic team-based combat, and a visual style inspired by Japanese animation.

The release marks a new collaboration between Marvel Games, PlayStation Studios, and one of the industry’s leading fighting game developers.

Amazon Announces New Warhammer 40,000 Animated Series for Prime Video

Amazon MGM Studios has officially announced that a new Warhammer 40,000 animated event series is in development for Prime Video.

The project is being produced in collaboration with Blur Studio and Games Workshop, with Henry Cavill serving as an executive producer. According to the announcement, the series will focus on the Deathwatch, an elite force of Space Marines that specializes in combating alien threats across the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

The animated series is being developed alongside the previously announced live-action Warhammer 40,000 project for Prime Video. Director Dave Wilson, who directed the Warhammer episode of Secret Level, returns as co-creator and director of the new series.

A release date has not yet been announced.

Microsoft Confirms Early Access for the Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta

Microsoft and The Coalition have confirmed that Early Access to the Gears of War: E-Day Open Beta will run from August 6 to August 10, 2026.

Access will be available to players who pre-order the game on Xbox Series X|S or Steam, as well as eligible Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members. The beta will offer an early look at the game’s multiplayer ahead of its full launch on October 6, 2026.

Developed by The Coalition and built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, the game returns to the beginning of the Locust War and follows Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago during Emergence Day.

The beta gives players their first opportunity to test the multiplayer experience before release.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Arrives in Theaters

Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have released Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the latest film in the Spider-Man franchise.

The new installment continues Peter Parker’s story following the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and features a new chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The production combines large-scale visual effects, digital environments, and character-driven action sequences created by teams across multiple VFX studios.

As one of this year’s major superhero releases, the film also highlights the continued role of advanced CGI and virtual production techniques in modern filmmaking.
