Some mountains stay with you long after you leave them.
This one in Yoho National Park felt almost impossible to paint at first — all those fractured rock faces, snow lines, and shifting light. But that challenge is exactly what drew me in.👩‍🎨.

My latest commissioned painting. Such a cute photo! Thank you for giving me such a great subject to paint! ♥️👩‍🎨.

What do I say about this painting… I liked it, then I hated it, then I gave up on it, then I realized it’s not so bad and now I love it. Painting is a roller coaster of emotions for me!! 😏👩‍🎨.

I love the way this tree holds the scene together, which is inspired this painting. It’s dark lines cutting through the soft snow and pale sky.

A moment that feels still, but never empty.

This piece was a bit of a departure for me, since wildlife isn’t often my subject—but the light in this forest scene drew me in completely. I was captivated by the way the shadows moved through the trees and across the ram’s coat, creating a quiet moment that felt both powerful and peaceful. Sometimes a painting begins not with the subject itself, but with the light that brings it to life.

The forest rests, but the light keeps moving—
slipping between trees, stretching across the snow, reminding us how beautiful stillness can be. 👩‍🎨

I realized that the whole painting wasn’t showing so here it is in full. One of the most difficult flowers for me but a favourite for sure- the Peony….👩‍🎨

Peonies have a way of humbling me every time.
All those layers, softness, and shifting light—it’s one of the hardest flowers for me to capture… and maybe that’s why I keep coming back to it.

This piece is an exercise in patience, letting the petals unfold slowly, one transparent layer at a time.

Soft water, steady rock, and that hush you only find in the north.
This piece is all about movement and stillness living side by side—the rush of the falls against the calm of the trees holding their ground.

Sometimes it’s not the grand view, but the feeling of being there that stays with you.

🎨 New Painting Drop!
Inspired by the rugged charm and vibrant culture of Newfoundland, this piece captures the colourful jumble of buoys and fishing gear found along the province’s iconic shoreline. The textures, the history, the salt air—you can almost hear the ocean in the breeze.

Can you guess if Newfoundland is my next bucket list travel destination? 👀
I’ve been dreaming of exploring its winding coastal roads, historic fishing villages, and warm-hearted locals.
