Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council

The Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council (TASSC) is a not-for-profit policy and research organization that addresses social determinants to improve and enhance the social, economic and cultural base of Aboriginal peoples in the City of Toronto.

TASSC's vision is to build a healthy and vibrant environment while increasing the capacity of our people to create a self-sufficient community in Toronto, guiding future generations as strong carriers of Aboriginal culture and achieving socio-economic success.

TASSC comissioned the Toronto Aboriginal Research Project (TARP) Report. Released in 2011, the TARP Report is the largest and most comprehensive study of Aboriginal peoples in Toronto ever conducted and includes 58 recommendations to improve the quality of life for urban Aboriginals.
