HONOR has become the new handcuffs in many church organizations.

The moment you question corruption, manipulation, control, abuse, false doctrine, celebrity culture, or financial exploitation, you are suddenly labeled dishonorable, rebellious, or dangerous.

But since when did honor mean silence?

Biblical honor was never designed to protect systems that do not glorify Christ.
Honor does not mean worshipping men.
Honor does not mean surrendering discernment.
Honor does not mean tolerating manipulation in the name of submission.

Apst Paul rebuked Apostle Peter publicly (Galatians 2:11-14).
The Bereans questioned teachings daily with Scripture (Acts 17:11).
Even Jesus confronted religious systems that burdened people while claiming spiritual authority (Matthew 23).

True honor flows from love, truth, and service, not fear and intimidation.

A church that constantly preaches endless “honor sermons” while avoiding accountability is not building mature believers… it is building dependent followers.

Christ did not die to free believers from the bo***ge of sin only for men to yoke them again with emotional and spiritual control.

Yes, believers are people of honor.
But honor without truth becomes idolatry.
And loyalty without discernment becomes bo***ge.

The Church belongs to Christ not personalities, titles, or organizations.
Honor, Accountability and loyalty should be birthed out the true Gospel, love and service in the local church ✋🏼
