I remember as a kid, watching my mom rush back from a busy day of work, and immediately jump into the kitchen. Within minutes, the aromas of kimchi, garlic and a pot of stew would fill the air, and before long, we’d be at the dinner table, stuffing our faces with rice, kimchi jigae and banchan. After a grueling day of work, it was truly a labor of love.
To my Valentines: I hope to fill your lives with the same rich nostalgic memories of home cooked meals, because, like my mom, I pour a bit of my heart and love into every dish I prepare. Happy Valentine’s Day, Daisy, Jasper & Hailey.
