A home is a feeling. It needs to be understood before it can be built.
This staircase is a perfect example.
The existing structure was solid and built to last. Instead of replacing it entirely, we chose to preserve what was working and transform it with a piano-style recap that gave it a completely new look and feel.
Great renovations aren’t always about starting over. Sometimes they’re about recognizing the value that’s already there and elevating it with thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
The result is a staircase that feels brand new while respecting the integrity of the original home.

Herringbone hardwood flooring is one of those details that instantly elevates a space.
