You can help MAKE CANADA TRANS-FRIENDLY AGAIN by donating to our school tour that we are arranging stops for now!

A little or a lot - doesn't matter - LITERALLY ANYTHING YOU CAN SPARE HELPS - and if you are not in a situation to help financially - please spread the word about the show and the fund-raiser. Unlike other industries, the performing arts are often funded through a combination of government and private funds - we are no exception - so please keep us in mind. And truly, AS LITTLE AS $5 can help!

HOP ON THE BUS AND LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD TOGETHER!!!

BONUS! Anyone who donates $50 or more before Friday September 20th at midnight gets a free pair of tickets to one of next week's shows!

You will also be entered in a draw to WIN A PAIR OF TICKETS BY SHARING this post publicly on your FB feed, liking this post and the Under the Bus page, and tagging two friends below!

Seeking ASL and Deaf interpreters who are interested in joining a free and supported professional development program to learn and grow their skills for interpretation for the stage.

Interpreters will have the mentorship of two leading ASL interpreters, Carmelle Cachero and Elizabeth Morris, to grow their skills in interpretation for performance. Interpreters selected for this program will observe and shadow the mentors during two GCTC productions. Then, during a third production, mentees will interpret a section of the show in front of a live audience and receive feedback from Deaf audience members.

This opportunity will give interpreters a chance to learn and grow their ASL skills from a culturally informed Deaf perspective, from ASL interpreter leaders in the National Capital Region and meet industry professionals in the performing arts.

Applications are due September 2nd 11:59 PM EST. More information about this program is available on our website, at gctc.ca/asl-training-arts.
