The day always comes

it’s easy to push it off to another day or to the day that seems the best to start something new, or to start some thing at all but once that day comes, we realize it’s just as hard to start as any other day.

Try it a bit different this time. Instead of:
- cutting out sugar, gluten, cards, fat, treats, try to workout 5 days

TRY THIS:

- plan for your treats in advance
- keep the same meal but cut the portion
-if you haven’t worked out in a while, consistently, start with three times a week at 30 minutes

if you make your goals, smaller and realistic, you are more likely to achieve them, and feel accomplished and motivated to do more!

MOVE MOVE MOVE!

it doesn’t matter what you choose to do, but do some thing!

yes, a healthy lifestyle can be challenging and it can be hard, but so can being uncomfortable, being in pain and not being able to enjoy your life and the people in it.

you don’t have to be extreme, you just have to start with moving.

💡maybe that’s getting a fitness tracker and starting to track your steps for the day

💡maybe it’s taking the stairs instead of the elevator

💡maybe instead of watching an extra episode of something you go for a 20 minute walk

💡maybe it’s finally using that gym membership that you’ve been paying for and hopping on the treadmill

💡maybe it’s calling up a friend and catching up while meeting for a coffee + walk

💡 maybe start an after dinner routine and go for a walk with your partner or family

💡 maybe it’s joining a new Bootcamp group that you’ve been seeing a flyer of around your community

my point is, if you continue to not exercise and be consistent with moving your body, every single day, in some way, shape, or form, you will lose the ability to move as you get older. You will experience more discomfort and pain and life just won’t be as enjoyable. Getting healthy is not just about the aesthetics. It’s about how you feel and what you can do no matter your age.

I know it’s hard to start a new habit and it’s hard to start moving when you haven’t been but remember, everyone and I mean everyone starts somewhere. Everyone in this world has started at level one in whatever they are doing so take care of your body and live a comfortable life.

How can you diet if you don’t know how much you are currently eating?

You need some sort of starting point, baseline!

How can you know how much is a deficit if you don’t even know what you are consuming to keep your weight where it is?

On top of this, tracking will help keep yu accountable to what you are choosing to put into your mouth. It may not be pretty, I know, but lying is going to keep where you are.

Start with bringing awareness to your nutrition before anything else.

So if you want to start somewhere, start there. You are going to have to do for your diet anyway, so why not start the habit now?

Money can’t buy your health!

Remember this, when you start to age things start to happen…

Naps are needed
Soreness is a real thing
Flexibility is at a minimum
Your body isn’t functioning the same
You are losing strength and feeling weak
Injuries are coming fast and furious

You can’t buy a healthy body you have to work for it. PERIOD.

Stop trying to buy your way out of the work.

Money really can’t buy it all but you can invest in your health.
