Big news for Edgecom Energy! 💯

We received funding from the Government of Canada, through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), as part of a nearly $16.5M investment in 13 GTA businesses, accelerating AI adoption and Canadian tech innovation.

Our CEO, Behdad Bahrami and our CTO, Mehdi Parvizi, had the honour of meeting with the Honourable Evan Solomon, Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, at MaRS Discovery District during the Toronto Tech Week.

This is a meaningful milestone for our team as it will accelerate our work building AI-powered energy management tools that help Canadian facilities reduce costs, cut emissions, and participate in a smarter, more resilient grid.
