I'm experimenting with deconstructing flowers. There's some Photoshop work here but the real magic is super-fine steel pins holding the petals in place.

Much ingenuity and some earthshaking change wrapped in the humble looking . Weaving, and the world, was never the same again once it came along.

I'm having fun photographing vintage objects. It gives me an extra bit of pleasure to be using a tripod that's older than I am. The tripod belonged to my late father-in-law. Sadly it was missing an essential metal clip so wasn't useable anymore. I proudly fixed it up with a strategic rivet and now it's back in action.
