Being a woman, and a business owner, and an opinionated gal comfortable living my life the way I want, I have heard sooooo many comments over the years. F*ck what people think, truly just live your life the way you want.

Unless you're saving lives, trust me... It can wait. And that doesn't mean not caring about your job or not doing a good job during work hours. It just means that your life doesn't need to revolve and be consumed by the 9-5.

10 of My F*ckups:

1) Wasting my time on small markets (costly, low foot traffic)
2) Staying with a partner that didn't support my business and dreams
3) Using Staples as my print house when I started
4) Being afraid of putting my face on social media
5) Buying equipment I didn't need (printer labels, printers, tape dispensers, mug press (never used it))
6) Not innovating my market set up (still need to work on this)
7) Shying away from using chatgpt to support the administrative side of business (def not referring to using ai for art don't get me wrong)
8) Not protecting my creative time and space
9) Using business cards without Qr codes
10) Holding myself back (this is a big one)

I have tried to push myself outside my comfy cozy boundaries. Whether that be in SnaptureThis, at my fulltime job, freelance opportunities or my personal life. Trust me, it's not easy for me. I am hard on myself for feeling uncomfortable or anxious and want to try things and do things well but can hold myself back out of fear.

So here's a push, try that new thing. Try that activity you put off. Send that email you've wanted to send. Ask to be a part of something new.
