Belfountain House

A transformation achieved not through expansion, but through subtraction.

This project began with the premise that more space was not the answer. Instead, the existing house was carefully reorganized, opening new relationships between rooms, light, and landscape.

The before-and-after images reveal a process of refinement rather than accumulation.

A space designed for coming together ✨
Our newly imagined main reception at Richland Academy creates a welcoming piazza for collaboration, connection, and learning. Flowing from the library to the outdoors, each space is thoughtfully designed to foster belonging, curiosity, and community through the dialogue of architecture and pedagogy.
