The project found that 64% of Ontarians have used a nonprofit organization in the last 5 years, and over 80% of respondents have donated to a nonprofit at least once.

Canada’s 2026 Food Price Report, led by researchers at Dalhousie University, predicts that the average Canadian family of 4 will spend $17,571.79 on food this year. This is an increase of $994.63 (4-6%) from last year.

Food prices are now 27% higher than they were 5 years prior, with Alberta, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and Ontario expected to experience increases above the national average in future years.

In 2022, the Aga Khan Museum introduced an outdoor exhibit, titled "The World Next Door: Canada's Global Citizenship," in partnership with Canadian Heritage. This exhibit showcased Canada's impact on global development, highlighting the country's history of welcoming newcomers from around the world and making contributions to humanitarian efforts.

A survey done by Community Researchers measured the impact of this exhibition and found that 80% of visitors learned something new about global development issues, demonstrating the exhibit's effectiveness in advocating for underserved communities and educating the public on global issues.
