Both are true and necessary.
Great teachers, mentors, and friends have shown me how powerful it can be when both are done well 🩶
2️⃣ comes naturally to me but I am working on 1️⃣
How do you do it? Any tips? 👇

A question for you to consider: do your muscles
⚡say nothing?
⚡⚡whisper softly?
⚡⚡⚡speak loudly?
⚡⚡⚡⚡yell?
And does that surprise you?
Yoga has given me the space and the silence to listen closely. And this has brought me closer to knowing who I am and where I am on my journey.

Mid January in a new year. It seems like things should feel new.
🦥 Are you not feeling the new year's resolution vibe or not ready to take up self improvement projects? I feel you! 🦥
Here are a few things that you can do instead
❄️ Do nothing, seriously. Listen to yourself instead of listening to others.
❄️ Stay with nature. If it is the winter season where you are, chances are the season itself has a big impact on you. Spring for example, may be more appropriate for newness and beginnings.
While you are staying low and looking inwards
❄️✨Reflect to establish where you are now, where you would like to go or how you would like to be, why you care about the journey and/or the destination and a few roads as options for your journey.

In the hush of winter's embrace we stand
Beneath the veil of solstice grand.
The year exhales, a sigh in the cold
A tale of stories, of truths untold.
Snowflakes dance in a graceful ballet
Whispering tales of the year's decay.
Yet, in their descent, a promise they bring
Of renewal, rebirth, as they softly sing.
The world in slumber, beneath a white sheet
A tranquil landscape, a calm and sweet retreat
Footprints of time in the glistening snow
Marking the path as the old year must go
A fireplace flickers, casting shadows tall
As we gather close in the solstice's thrall
Reflections of memories, like embers burn
A chronicle of lessons, a heart's slow turn.
The moon, a guardian in the midnight sky,
Watches over the world with a knowing eye.
In this sacred silence, we find our way,
To the dawn of a new and hopeful day.
As the solstice wanes, the year takes its bow
Time unwinding, as if guided by a vow
In the stillness of winter, we find our voice
A poem of gratitude, a quiet rejoice.
