Today is May 28th and I am excited because I will be attending my first professional soccer game in Toronto.
I did this sketch in Adobe Illustrator by doing a rough pencil sketch and scanning it into the program and using the pen tool. I did not use any tracing programs or any AI to complete the drawing.

I am a illustrator who loves to write ads. I drew the lure here in Adobe Illustrator not even going near any tracing tools. I usually just scan a rough pencil sketch into illustrator and build my strokes up using the pen tool. I hope you enjoy the ad. Happy Tariff Day. Cheers.

Wow what a snowstorm we got in Toronto last night. I have been watching my neighbors shoveling their driveways for hours this morning. I am posting this sketch I recently finished. I am always truly amazed by the unique talents of my fellow Canadians. As a budding artist who draws freehand with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator every once in a while I come across an image on the internet that is so beautiful I just have to sketch it for practice.
I cant sell this image sadly because because it is not mine. But i did use the kittens unique head position as inspiration for a drawing that I did of cat for a lovely lady named Mary.
I am always trying to develop my illustrating sketching abilities and attract people to my work.

Its a lazy cloudy day In Toronto and I am having fun developing some advertising concepts for a fishing lure. I am going to be writing some ads for a drug manufacturer soon and all the ads in this post were written just for fun and for me to get my creative juices flowing. I did all the artwork in these ads in Adobe Illustrator with the pen tool. An Irish friend I just recently sent these ads ideas to said they were awful but i wanted to see what others think. I am trying to attract followers to my feed so if you enjoy my work please like it.

The last few days of summer have been absolutely gorgeous in Toronto. The calendar says Fall is coming but I am enjoying this.
I sat down recently and did this quick sketch listening to Burton Cummings songs on the radio.
I have included in this post a picture of my sketch in progress showing the anchor points and curves I use in the pen tool in Illustrator to draw with at the top of the image.

Sometimes when i get bored. I take an old pen and ink set with the bottled inks and I draw pictures outside of houses in my neighborhood. I have included a few samples of my work here. I try to limit my drawing time to an hour per sketch but I love the effect.

This cold weekend we had a snowstorm in Toronto. but I had a great time drawing this cat indoors.
