The Church Hat is a story about a child experiencing safety and validation. It is the basis for the animated short film. Have you ever wondered what makes a hat feel like a Crown? To one questioning child, Mama's closet holds treasures, in the elegant hats that whisper history, pride and power. One day, he tries one on in his parent's bedroom, posing in front of their mirror, to feel stylish. Maybe even seen, the way he sees her. But when his Mother unexpectedly walks into her room, time stands still. Would she be angry? Is he in trouble?

Read about her response with a wide open heart. In that moment, the hat isn't just fabric and feathers. It became a bridge. A bridge to , to saying: "I see you, you matter, just as you are." Church Hat is more than just a story about a hat. It's a love letter to acceptance. To every child searching for safety. To every parent choosing love over judgement and fear. Because everyone's story matters. Choose PRIDE not shame during and all year.

Great screening tonight at Hall of the deeply personal . joining the Q&A after was an unexpected bonus. This immersive film captured a family impacted by strict decisions around financial literacy and systemic wealth preservation with a touching conclusion around what true wealth is. Very informative history on the societal impact of taxes as well. Looking forward to watching it again when it gets on a streaming platform.
