After standing for 8 hours, she sold just ONE ice cream bar…and called it a WIN…And yesterday she won GOLD.

Meet Tamara Al Dip the founder of NanaShake—she moved to a new country, raised a family, and decided to bet on herself.

She’s the woman who wakes up at 5am every day — prepares food for her kids, ensures they have everything they need, and then steps bravely into the world to build her dream.

She’s scrubbed floors and served high-net-worth clients—and treated both with the same respect.

She stood at a farmer’s market for 8 hours with her partner and co-founder Yazeed Yasin…and sold only ONE single bar.

Her kids played by her side. She even set up inflatable beds in the back of her car so they could sleep.

When I asked her if that day felt discouraging, she smiled and said:

“I got to spend precious time with my kids. That’s what matters.”

That’s Tamara.

A woman of grit, heart, and perspective.

She’s scrubbed floors. She’s sold one bar. She’s stayed authentic through every moment.

Her perseverance was recognized — winning GOLD at SIAL Canada’s pitch competition.

Tamara reminds me — and all of us — that:

👉 Success is not about the speed of the win. It’s about showing up— every day—even on the days you don’t feel like it.

She’s not just a founder.
She’s a mother, a partner, and a fighter who leads with kindness and authenticity.

To every woman (and founder) who’s ever doubted herself — look to Tamara’s story.

▶ You don’t need perfect circumstances.
▶ You don’t need the loudest voice.
▶ You just need to wake up, show up, and keep going.

Tamara — you are extraordinary.
Your courage is contagious.
And I am so excited to see you make your dreams come to life.

This journey isn’t about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up with heart, grit, and vision — every single day.

There’s something magnetic about people who bet on themselves — who believe deeply in their mission, connect with their customers, and push through the fear and uncertainty to bring something new into the world.

That’s what stayed with me meeting some of the incredible founders and leaders behind brands shaping the future of food.

Big thanks to Tamara Al Dip , Yazeed Yasin Jesse Abbass, Karen James, Jim Slomka, Vanessa Peters, Larry Bonikowsky and so many others who inspired me through their stories, energy, and authenticity.

Here’s to the builders, the dreamers, and the doers.

👉The world needs you!

💡Have you ever noticed how clean and fresh the air is after an intense storm? Storms can be deceptive.

They can be loud, disruptive and ruthless, destroying everything insight.

But sometimes storms come to clear a path for something greater.

Think about all the difficult times you’ve experienced. It must have been painful and difficult, but what did you learn?

▶ Did it blow away the things that don’t matter so you can see the path forward more clearly?

▶ Did it bring you to something greater than you imagined?

Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear the path.

🌈 So open yourself to the rainbow that comes after the storm.

Rejection hurts. It can leave you feeling inadequate, unworthy, and unwanted.

But in those moments, remember this: rejection is protection.

It’s the universe clearing a path for something better, something meant for you.

Trust the process, let go, and keep moving forward—what’s ahead is greater than what you left behind
