orial defence has been made. It was answered by hundreds of thousands of ordinary Ukrainians - teachers, doctors, construction workers, librarians, IT professionals to name a few. These brave men and women chose to defend their home, their loved ones and their right to live in a free sovereign country. They are highly motivated and eager, but lack basic protective equipment (ballistic plates, helmets, eye protection), medication and other supplies necessary for field operations. We, the Maple Trident, a Canadian non for profit, following the legacy of the Canadian Armed Forces (the backbone of the organization is formed by current and former CAF members) by helping the Ukrainians in their fight and doing so by providing essential equipment for the territorial guard and combat units so they can live to fight another day.
