Here is the sweater for my granddaughter. It's a size 10. I had to frog that sleeve 7 times before I got it right. The sweater is thick, soft and warm. This is my first try at this style and I'm very pleased with it.

I'm making a sweater for my granddaughter. I've frogged this sleeve 3 times. Not frustrating at all, eh?

Another little project I'm working on... a sweater for my grandson. The body is complete, now it's the sleeves which are crocheted to the sweater.
This yarn is named Schitt's Creek and anyone who is familiar with the show will know that this is a great yarn..just like the show. Soft and thick and so easy to work with.

Here is my latest addition. This is a soccer blanket for a baby. There are 18 hexagons weaved together by hand. Soft and airy for the summer but toasty in winter. 31" x 26"
Soccer is one of my favourite sports to watch so I thought it would be great for a crib, stroller, etc.

Continuing to work on my punch needle pillow. These are royal colours with a muted warm yellow background. This will be one of af a pair.
The second pillow will have the same colours but the design will have different shape. Just haven't decided on which one yet.

This dress is for my 3 yr old granddaughter who loves the colour purple. Made with a HDC stitch and then whipstitched together. Two rows of DC shell stitch on the bottom for a small ruffle. Sometimes you just crochet for the fun of it.

Remember that I was working on a crochet summer top for my daughter? Well, it is finished and fits her beautifully. Here is the front and back of the top. I am so pleased with the way this turned out.
The photos of her wearing it are coming shortly.

Here is how I weave in my ends so they are relatively invisible and will not pop up after multiple washings.
This is the closed Magic Circle. I weave the yarn back and forth 3 times, making sure the needle goes through the yarn and not the openings in the design. This ensures that the yarn will not move or separate with time.
I use the same method weaving ends.
