Behind The Spread — Ep. 2
We officially moved into our new production space.
No movers. No big crew. Just our team, a few cars, a new filling machine, way too much equipment, and a very expensive to-do list.
It’s messy, stressful, and honestly a little chaotic — but it also feels like Lena’s Dips is growing up.
And through all of it, the goal hasn’t changed: to make food that feels generous. The kind of food my mom Lena made people feel — taken care of, with no shortcuts.
We’re building something real, one spread at a time.
Her name is Lena. And no, she still doesn’t fully get what we’re building yet.
Growing up, you couldn’t walk out of her house without a plate in your hands. Didn’t matter if you said you weren’t hungry — she’d make you one anyway. That was just how she loved people. She fed them.
So when I started making dips for a living, there was only ever one name for it.
Everything we make, we make the way she’d make it — generous, never cutting the good stuff to save a dollar. That’s the whole brand. That’s the whole point.
She’s watching this thing grow in real time. Follow along — she’s about to find out exactly how big this company is getting
