A joint report from Amadeus and UN Tourism, titled Travel Insights 2026: Focus on the Americas, analyzes passenger traffic trends across the Americas for the 12 months ending April 2026. The report found that overall passenger traffic in the Americas increased by 0.8 per cent during this period. Travel volumes closely matched scheduled capacity, indicating a stable operating environment for the region.

The best workplaces start with hiring the best people, yet many organizations pour energy into defining brand standards and guest experience while giving far less attention to who they hire to deliver them. Recruitment can't just be posting a job and waiting for resumes. It means getting clear on your ideal candidate, going after top talent rather than casting a wide net, and building a consistent, structured process that reduces gut-feel decisions and bias. And when in doubt, hire talent over skill, because curiosity, judgment and care are much harder to teach.
