The Toronto Centre For Emotionally Focused Therapy
For Individuals, Couples and Families looking for

05/22/2026

What if the shift your clients are looking for isn’t just in their thoughts… but in their *emotional experience*?

Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) is rooted in attachment science and helps you work at the level where real change happens—emotion.

When we learn how to access and process core emotional experience, something shifts.
Clients begin to see themselves differently.
They feel more secure, more connected, and less stuck in the patterns that brought them to therapy.

In this 4-day in-person training, you’ll learn how to:
• Work with emotion as a guide for change
• Help clients move through stuck patterns
• Create corrective emotional experiences
• Support the development of a more secure, confident sense of self

This is the kind of work that transforms not only your clients—but how you show up as a therapist.

🗓 October 5–8, 2026

Led by Leanne Campbell and Robin Williams Blake—bringing both deep expertise and heart to the learning experience.

We’re often taught to focus on thoughts, behaviours, and coping…

But what if the real shift happens somewhere deeper?

EFIT focuses on emotion as the driver of change—helping clients reconnect with themselves, understand their patterns, and move out of stuck places.

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about working differently.

If you’ve ever left a session thinking…

“I know what’s happening… but now what?”

You’re not alone.

A lot of therapists are trained to understand patterns—but not always how to move them in the moment.

That stuck feeling isn’t a reflection of you—it’s often a lack of a clear roadmap.

EFT gives you that direction.

So you can feel more confident, more grounded, and more effective in your sessions.

✨ Ready to feel more clear in the room? Come train with us and be a part of our Toronto EFT community!

Not everything meaningful in this work happens in the therapy room.

Sometimes it happens in the stories we carry, about how we got here, what’s changed us, and the moments that have stayed with us long after sessions end.

Join us for an evening of connection, community, and storytelling at our TCEFT Spring Social 🌿

This is a chance to step out of the clinical space and come together in a different way. Meet other therapists, share a drink, laugh, and hear the real, human stories behind the work we do.

🗓 Evening Schedule:
6:00–7:00 pm — Mingling + connection
7:00–8:30 pm — Community stories
8:30–9:00 pm — Raffle + closing

📍 Location: Social Art Studio (Youngplace)
🎟 Tickets: $50 + HST

We’re also inviting members of our community to share their stories.
Whether it’s a moment that shaped you, challenged you, or stayed with you. This space is for real, meaningful reflections.

Sometimes the most helpful part of this work… is having a space to not have it all figured out.

Our Peer Supervision Group is a free, monthly space for EFT clinicians to come together, reflect on their work, and think through the moments that feel stuck, unclear, or complex.

Whether you’re new to EFT or have been practicing for years, you’re welcome here.

This is a collaborative, supportive space where you can:
• Bring real clinical questions
• Explore cases through an EFT lens
• Learn alongside other therapists
• Feel a little less alone in the work

🗓 Upcoming dates:
May 11, 2026
⏰ 10:00–11:45 am

Free to attend | Open to Ontario-based mental health professionals

Most of us were trained to ask:
“What’s wrong?”

EFT helps you ask something different:
“What’s happening underneath?”

And that shift changes everything.

You begin to understand your clients through emotion, attachment, and connection—not just behaviour or symptoms.

And from there, your work starts to feel deeper, clearer, and more impactful.

💛 If you’re looking to grow your clinical skills in a meaningful way, this is a great place to start!

Ever notice how clients can understand their patterns…
and still feel stuck in them?

That’s because change doesn’t just happen through insight.

It happens when we access and work with the emotion underneath—the part that’s driving the pattern in the first place.

This is the foundation of Emotionally Focused Therapy.

A model that helps therapists move beyond surface-level conversations and into the moments where real change happens.

When you’re working with families, it can feel like you’re holding so much all at once…

Different perspectives.
Big emotions.
Long-standing patterns that don’t shift easily.

EFFT gives you a way to slow it all down—and work at the level where real change happens.

In this 4-day in-person training, you’ll learn how to understand family dynamics through an attachment lens, work with emotion in the moment, and guide families toward meaningful repair and reconnection.

This isn’t just about managing conflict.
It’s about helping families create new emotional experiences that reshape how they relate to each other.
