Crisper
Ontario's ONLY zero waste meal kit. Fill your plate, not the planet.

Farmers are the original climate activists.
They work with the land, not against it, and the food they grow is the most direct connection most of us have to the earth.
Crisper was built on that belief. Seasonal ingredients, local producers, lots of plants and as little waste as possible.
This , let's slow down and take a moment to thank your farmer.

Shifting to plant-rich diets could cut more than 50% of food related emissions.
While we wait for next week's special Sustainalicious delivery (we're still taking orders until June 7), we're proud to share that all of our Crisper recipes are climate action approved and always Earth-approved.
With many restaurants and food spots around Toronto joining the movement, imagine if we got the whole city on board! Small changes really do add up to big impact.
Join us in a city wide celebration of food, flavour and climate action.

Did you know that blueberries, cranberries, peppers, tomatoes (+ more) exist because of honeybees?! π
More than 80% of flowering crops depend on pollinators to grow and reproduce, so it's important to look out for the bees and pollinators that keep our plates colourful and full.
To help plant bee and pollinator friendly plants in your garden or outdoor space (lavender, sunflowers, or wildflowers), skip the pesticides and support local conservation and pollinator protection initiatives.

Our food system produces more emissions than every car, plane, train, and boat combined.
Just one meal can have a climate impact that's equivalent to taking 3 cars off the road and saves 14 bathtubs of water. Imagine the climate impact we could make if everyone in the city participated!
We're making it easy and bringing climate action right to your kitchen. Link in the usual spot. β

Anything bitter is good for the liver!
Rapini is one of nature's best bitter greens, and it's packed with nutrients and bitter compounds that activate bile production, support detoxification pathways, and get your digestion moving.
So add more bitter to your plate! And if not rapini, you can't go wrong with dandelion greens, arugula, radicchio, or endive. What did we miss?!
Rapini is featured in the Spicy Lemon Chickpea & Rapini Pasta next week and it's a fave around here! Link in the usual spot. βπ

Fibre is the unsung hero of your health, and most of us aren't getting nearly enough.
Women need around 25g a day. Men need around 38g. And most Canadians get less than half of that.
The easiest way to boost your intake is to eat plant-based versions of the meals you already love. Take the Chinese Cauliflower Rice with Bok Choy. It's packing 20 grams of fibre per portion. That's almost a full day's worth in a single meal!
And it's on the menu next week.
04/29/2026
If every Canadian enjoyed just one plant-based meal a week, we could reduce the carbon emissions of 6 million cars.
You don't have to do all or nothing, every little bit counts (but imagine what three Crisper kits a week could do!). We've got the answer to what's for dinner with a little love for the planet baked right in.

At Crisper, we're here to take that weight off your shoulders with a service that adds peace of mind to convenient weekly grocery delivery.
You can rest easy knowing that we're doing the hard work, and that together we can make an impact.
