این غزل سرودهی فرخی یزدی شاعر و روزنامهنگار آزادیخواه و دموکرات صدر مشروطیت است که حدود ۱۰۰ سال پیش میزیسته. انگار که وصف حال همین روزهای ماست. مبارزه برای آزادی قرنهاست که ادامه دارد. ایران ِما ماندنیست.

وای بر شهری که در آن مزد مردان درست
از حکومت غیر حبس و کشتن و تبعید نیست
