As you probably know, I’ve been documenting the freedom protests since the beginning of lockdowns back in 2020. In early 2022, I spent nearly a month in Ottawa reporting on Freedom Convoy as an independent photographer, capturing this historical event in support of human rights. I am currently launching a photography book that would hopefully serve as a keepsake of this important moment in history for freedom loving Canadians and for people all over the world who supported the movement. Thousands came out for the second Saturday in a row to support truckers convoy in Ottawa and stand up against vaccine mandates and Covid-19 restrictions.

Thousands came out to support the truckers convoy in Ottawa last Saturday. Despite what the mainstream media claim about violence and racism, I did not see any of that covering the protest for almost a week in the capital. Quite the opposite, I saw people being friendly, offering food, taking photos with the police, cleaning the streets so police can pass if they need to and so on. Sad story is the social media was full of hate from many Canadians, making me question who is the racist here.
I will share here what I've captured in Ottawa between January 28 and February 2. Stay tuned.
