Remember that time (January 2024) when we took a break to bring our first born son into the world?

Well, being a new parent has been incredible! But that journey was quickly followed by medical complications in the midst of purchasing and renovating a brand new podcast recording studio. The recording studio took a turn as a result of the current real estate dip, but we’re back on track and 2026 will be full of physical, financial and medical obligations to take us to the finish line.

YES! The podcast is still ON, but we’re a tiny team of two with a two-year old and hope to bring you new episodes soon. And yes, we are renovating by ourselves. Stay tuned for updates, and we’ll be right back (one day), I promise! Swipe to see progress 😬🍋

This photo captures only HALF of the needles and vials of hormones required to successfully conceive and give birth to my first born, after seven miscarriages, abdominal surgeries, multiple rounds of medically assisted timed pregnancies, artificial insemination, and in vitro fertilization.

Today, I am grateful EVERY SINGLE DAY for a successful eighth gestation. That said, my heart remains with all the mamas who do not have their baby to hold in their arms today. No matter how or when your baby enters this world, I pray you are able to hold your baby some day 💛💚

🤰🏻 PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT 🤰🏻

This post is nothing short of bitter and sweet as the last time I spoke of my fertility in Episode 1 was in regards to seven miscarriages and multiple rounds of needles and hormones, medically assisted timed pregnancies, artificial insemination, and in vitro fertilization. While we anticipate a successful eighth gestation, our incredible gratefulness also comes with some anxiety and a great deal of consideration for those who continue to struggle with fertility, especially during the holidays. As I make this official announcement, my heart remains with all the mamas who do not have their baby to hold in their arms today 💛

Caveat: I never hesitate to post my truths and do NOT take this new privilege for granted, but I do truly value and treasure the privacy behind some of my family affairs so will not be posting a great deal of updates when baby arrives. However, I do hope this post, our upcoming educational episodes, and some of our triumphs help keep some of you going 🥰

My fertility journey is not over, but we hope for the best for others and our own and want to thank our dedicated team of medical professionals and loved ones for the ongoing support thus far. As we travel down this new unfamiliar journey of third trimester and soon parenthood 🤞🏽 - we hope the next few episodes regarding childbirth and postpartum are helpful to some of you.
