I love to follow my students lead. This little comedian wanted to create a joke book, and it was a great opportunity to learn about purpose for writing, audience, and publishing a final draft.

Writing polite, formal emails is an important skill for everyday communication. This adult English language learner never ceases to amaze me with her dedication and hard work!

(The sentence was just an example!)

There are endless benefits to learning online:

◾️access to a wide range of tools and resources..and the list goes on.

When we come across a scenario where online seems like a barrier, we find a way to overcome it!

We don't want our writing to be squished together! Using finger spaces helps the little ones remember to separate their words.

Round 2 of the free book club for English Language Learners starts up on Aug. 6! This time, we will be reading a short story, rather than a novel.
