It’s by no means perfect but I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished since leaving my corporate job 15 months ago.
The biggest shift is in my mindset. Success when you’re in a 9-5 is getting to work on time, not getting put on a PIP and MAYBE getting a 3% raise. And honestly, getting to keep your job when the economy is feeling shaky.
Defining success when working for yourself is not so simple. For me it includes volunteering at my kid’s school and taking any random sick days to spend cuddling them on the couch but couch cuddles don’t pay the bills!
I’m feeling fulfilled in the ‘soft’ parts but struggling to determine what number would make me feel success in terms of income.
My therapist, also an entrepreneur, told me this week that *I am allowed to succeed in my own way * and I honestly love that for me.
If any of you fellow entrepreneurs have some advice, I could really use it right now. 🙏🏻

Without our health we have nothing. There are so many opportunities outside a 9-5.
Do not let your employer wreck your health. It's not noble.

Rejection is Redirection. It's tough but you've got to allow some wiggle room for the Universe to guide you.
For the Universe to show you the synchronicities of where you're meant to be, you've got to be in motion, taking action. Imperfect action works just fine for this!
Failure isn't determined by the outcome, it lies in never having tried.
Luck is engineered. Money wants to flow to you, it just has no path.
It’s like the old Italian parable where the poor man goes to church everyday, kneels in front of the statue of a great saint and prays ‘please, please, please 🙏🏻…give me the grace to win the lottery.’
This goes on for months. The man continues to beg. His life remains unchanged.
Finally the statue comes to life, looks down at the desperate man wearily and says:
‘My son-please, please, please 🙏🏻 …buy a ticket!’

Brands on Amazon send me free products every day to review, I earn commission from those reviews and I select the products I get so I can donate intentionally to my community.
I’ve been in this Internet game for five years now, doing it from Canada, and this is the best opportunity I’ve found to earn an online income and own your own calendar.
The Amazon influencer program is free to join. The products are free. You don’t have to purchase them. The only things I pay for are a coach and a chrome extension to help with product selection.
That’s literally it. There’s no business with this low of a startup cost.

This patriarchal system was not designed for women or women in the workplace. It’s too restrictive and structured and honestly, just doesn’t make sense to me.
In my thirties my priorities have changed. Time with my family and peace in my life outrank everything else.
The flexibility I have now has come at a cost but I wholeheartedly believe it’s worth the price.
