Waiting for the total eclipse today April 8, 2024.

A partial solar eclipse will blaze a trail over Toronto Monday afternoon, with the moon blocking over 90 per cent of the sun.

Just how much of the once-in-a-lifetime celestial event will be visible to us on the ground will depend on the forecast for the afternoon, with the eclipse occurring between about 2:04 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
