on february 21, 2021, stone essentials launched as a e-commerce business with a mission in mind - to create something essential.

we started stone essentials in our small toronto apartment during the heat of the pandemic. each candle has been hand made by us in small batches for quality and consistency.

stone essentials has had many milestones:

- through our year of business, we've sold over 1000 candles throughout canada and the united states;

- all materials used to create our candles have been sourced locally from ontario based businesses less than 100km from our home; and

- we've collaborated with local businesses and influencers to promote community and brand awareness.

since passing our one year milestone, we realized we've accomplished everything we set out to do. we learned how to run a small business, and have experienced incredible connections that have come along with it that we will treasure always.

we thank you for your support, and aid in the growth of stone essentials. this is not goodbye, this is see you soon. who knows what may be next for this creative toronto duo, hunter and david stone.

but for now stone essentials will be a memory when you smell lemon on a summer day or sandalwood at the beach.
