The BETTY

The Betty is a monthly live stand-up comedy show at the new Society Clubhouse. We know Toronto is one of the BEST comedy cities in the world and this stage will feature curated, seasoned lineups that reflect the sometimes overlooked diversity within the comedy community. These shows are relaxed and open to everyone, of all genders, that love a good laugh. A little earlier and a little tighter, our goal is to create SPACE for these funny AF folks, in this fully accessible space, to stretch out with longer sets in a supportive environment. What that looks like is 15 minute sets from seasoned comedians with the occasional guest spots added as time allows. Priority is given to women, non-binary folks, and those from the BIPOC and lgbtq+ community. Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the Society Clubhouse before and after the show with beer, cider or non-alc bevies because The Betty isn’t just a show, it’s a NIGHT!
