Terrace Riverboat Days Starting the August long weekend, Riverboat Days is the largest community festival in northwest British Columbia, highlighting the culture and heritage of the area.

Major sporting events are a time to come together, celebrate soccer, and create lasting memories. While most fans are there to enjoy the game, major sporting events can create opportunities for traffickers to target people who may be isolated, unfamiliar with the area or in vulnerable situations. Help prevent human trafficking by:
⚽ Staying with people you trust and making a plan before heading to an event.
⚽ Being cautious of offers that seem too good to be true.
⚽ Looking out for friends, family, and community members—especially youth and women, girls, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people, who are disproportionately affected by human trafficking.
⚽ Speaking up if something doesn't feel right.
