The kids welcomed Summer Solstice ☀️ Everyone is excited for summer holidays!

It's not just a stick. It's a wand, a shovel, a telescope, a baton, a sword, a microphone, a treasure finder, a walking staff, material for our next craft!
And whatever else the kids imagine it to be💙✨️

Did you know the dandelion is the only flower that represents the the sun, moon and stars?
The yellow flower resembles the sun, the puff ball resembles the moon, and the dispersing seeds resemble the stars. The dandelion flower opens to greet the morning and closes in the evening to go to sleep.
How cool is that?!

It's a wonderful thing how being outside calms the child. The kids have been finding big sticks for walking sticks on our way home from school. So fun!

We got rained out this afternoon but kiddos found other activities to do.

These Rascals enjoyed the walk from school. Of course we had to make a pit stop at the playground!

This will be fun to do with the kiddos!!

The green onions and cucumber are just starting to sprout! Nothing to report on the tomatoes, yet!

Conor is really into learning about the solar system right now!

Some may say that this planet parade is over-hyped (as not all of the planets will be easy to view), but maybe any reason to go sky watching is a great reason!
