June is Stroke Awareness Month.
When it comes to stroke, recognizing the signs and getting medical help quickly can make a significant difference.
A simple way to remember the warning signs is the FAST acronym:
F – Face drooping
A – Arm weakness
S – Speech difficulty
T – Time to call 911
If you notice any of these signs in yourself or someone else, seek emergency medical attention immediately. Even if symptoms seem to improve, prompt assessment is critical.
While early medical treatment is essential, recovery doesn't end at the hospital. Physiotherapy often plays an important role in helping people regain strength, balance, mobility, and confidence as they work toward returning to the activities that matter most to them.
Recovery looks different for everyone, but meaningful improvements are often possible with the right support, education, and rehabilitation.
This Stroke Awareness Month, we recognize the resilience of stroke survivors, their families, and the healthcare professionals who support them throughout their recovery journey.

May is National Physiotherapy Month.
Physiotherapy is about more than just recovering from injury. It’s about helping people understand their pain, move with more confidence, and build the capacity to stay active over the long term.
Whether it’s getting back to work, sport, or just day-to-day life, our role is to guide that process and support meaningful, lasting change.
Over the next month, we’ll be sharing one post each week to highlight different ways physiotherapy can support your health.

Today is Administrative Professionals Day, and it felt important to take a moment to recognize two people who are such a big part of what makes this clinic what it is.
Brenda and Connie are often the very first connection someone has with us—whether it’s a phone call, a message, or walking through the door not quite sure what to expect. And from that first moment, they bring a sense of calm, kindness, and genuine care that sets the tone for everything that follows.
There’s so much happening behind the scenes that people don’t see. Through all of it, they show up with patience, warmth, and a level of care that goes far beyond what the role asks of them.
It’s hard to fully put into words how much that matters—but we feel it every single day.
We’re incredibly grateful for both of you. Thank you for everything you do for our patients, our team, and this clinic.
Happy Administrative Professionals Day!

Movement is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to support your long-term health. Regular, intentional movement helps maintain strength, balance, and mobility, all key to feeling your best as the years go on.
You don’t need a perfect plan or hours in the gym. Even small, consistent activity can make a meaningful difference over time.
If you’re looking for ways to move more confidently or build better habits, reach out any time.

There’s no single treatment that fixes everything.
Progress usually comes from a mix of the right plan, consistency, and a bit of trust in the process.
We’re here to work through that with you.

We’ve been thinking about how we can continue to improve access to care in Southwest Saskatchewan.
One direction we’re exploring is expanding into a more multidisciplinary model—bringing together providers who value collaboration and patient-centred care.
We believe patients benefit from care that’s connected and coordinated, rather than siloed—where providers can communicate, share perspectives, and support people more effectively.
The goal is simple: better support for our patients through a more connected, team-based approach.
If you’re a healthcare provider in the area and have ever considered working alongside a physiotherapy team, we’d be open to a conversation.

Physio isn’t just for athletes or acute injuries.
Most of what we see is people dealing with pain that’s impacting their day-to-day—work, sleep, exercise, or just feeling like themselves.
Our focus isn’t just on short-term relief, but helping you understand what’s going on and building a plan around movement that actually fits your life.

You don’t need a referral to book an appointment with us.
That said, we do work alongside your primary care provider when it makes sense — whether that’s sharing updates, coordinating care, or looping them in if something falls outside our scope.
The goal is to make access to care straightforward, while still keeping communication open between providers when it’s helpful.
