Fairview School Student Art Show & Auction
We welcome Fairview community members to a fun family evening of art. Drop by the school to see a wide variety of K-8 student art on display. Some of this art will be available for purchase using a silent auction format. In addition, our Grade 3-5 Choir will be performing and students will also be doing various poetry/story readings throughout the evening. All proceeds go towards the Fairview School Art Program. This is to inform you that all in city busses K-12 are cancelled this afternoon, Thursday, March 12th due to the accumulation of snow and road conditions.

This is to inform you that all in city busses K-12 are cancelled this morning, Thursday March 12th due to poor weather and road conditions.

Pre-K busses are cancelled for the entire day.

Families have been notified of this cancellation using Bus Status and SchoolMessenger.

Conditions will be closely monitored this morning to determine the status for the afternoon busses.

The City has asked that we distribute this information to community members. Please be aware that there may be more traffic in the area when dropping off / picking up your children.

Kindergarten Registration
Reminder - Fairview School would like to invite future Kindergarten students and parents to our Kindergarten Registration evening on March 3rd, between 6-7pm.

On Wednesday Fairview held it's 100th day celebrations. K-2 tudents had an assembly and participated in a number of activities centered around the number 100. We also had a visit from "Zero the Hero" who brought a special treat for the students.

Help us celebrate our amazing staff here at Fairview School during Staff Appreciation Week. Share a short message of appreciation for a staff member who has made a difference.

Fairview SCC Family Valentine's Dance
*Please note the new change in time for the dance from a previous post, due to an after school sporting event.
When: February 12th from 6:46-8:30pm
Where: Fairview School Gym
Cost: Free
-Bring a non-perishable food item to be entered to win a door prize.
-Concession stand available.
-Parents must accompany their child.
-Bring a water bottle. There will be a water station.

As part of our Family Literacy Week we are inviting parents to join us for Coffee, Timbits, and a morning of reading with their child(ren).
