We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all these amazing people! We have such a wonderful time with each and everyone. We love our conversations and the stories and laughs we share. Valentine's, Easter, Christmas, Mothers / Fathers Day can be a difficult times for many and we do our best to help spread some sunshine, gifts, treats and fun to all year round. We LOVE Volunteering- companionship, walks, talks, reading, crafts: the Residents appreciate the time spent with them.
We've been Volunteering for many, many years. My family & I started the Savy Seniors computer program years ago at RGH, a plant program, CD/ DVD Program and do holiday character visits and our families Georgina's Caring Cards Program that loves connecting with Seniors, to let them know they are valued and loved.
Thank you to those who also donate cards and candies to our families Caring Card Program for us to deliver on our visits. Optimist Club of Keswick Juniors, Margaret Landry, Lauralee Riley and Karen J for the cards and candies. ❤🙏❤.

Busy, busy, busy!
Don't forget to help neighbors, family, friends and check in on Seniors please.

My family and I visit the wonderful Residents and Staff at Riverglen Haven Nursing Home at Christmas and all the holidays to bring joy to all. These are pics of just a few of approximately 100 people who reside at RGH. We spent the afternoon, going room to room visiting each Resident, talking, laughing and sharing stories that we cherish. We encourage everyone to go visit a Senior throughout the year because Seniors are wonderful! We also brought them chocolates, treats, gifts and cards for each person, from our Caring Card Program. We also brought appropriately 100 new CDs and DVDS for the Residents to enjoy. Please take time and spend quality time with a Senior. Laurie Mike Carriere
